We went to the beach this weekend. Ryan wanted to go since it was the last weekend before he starts everything. Tomorrow he begins with a week of orientation, and then its the real thing. Yesterday the waves were so big that some of the public beaches were closed, but we have an in with Katie and Josh, who have access to a private beach. Don't worry, we were careful. It was perfect weather, and fun to watch the waves. Josh surfed, Ryan decided not so show him up and just stuck with the body board. (It may be because I told him if he wanted to surf he would have to wear a life jacket). Katie told me the currents can be dangerous for people who aren't very comfortable swimming in the ocean. So we played frisbee, and Crew relaxed like a true beach bum. It was a jolly good time.
