Some friends we saw
I thought 2 weeks would in WA would give me plenty of time to see EVERYONE I wanted to, but it just didn't work out that way. We were a lot busier than I had expected. But we did manage to see a few friends that I have dearly missed. I didn't get a picture of when we got to visit Emily & Shawn - but we had a lovely day with them and their girls at the splash park.

Deonna and Cole took us to a really great (was it Cuban place? I really can't remember) in fremont, and showed us their new nice place. It was great to see them again since they visited us in March!
And my Lauren Hunt. A lovely walk around greenlake! Crew was really into posing for the camera.

Oh Steph, thank you for coming to see us. You are the sweetest, I loved just talking with you and catching up. Could have done it for hours. Katie was jealous. . .

Jana & Jordan visit Seattle
We were so happy to have Jana & Jordan come for a few days. It was fun to do some of the traditional Seattle things with them. And the timing worked out perfect. They were here for most of the days that my parents were helping out with girl's camp for our church. Aside from what the pictures show, we went to Kyle & Rachael's house for a day on the lake, spent a day on the lake with our friends Bryce & Camille, saw Cheryl & Mike, and ate lots of good food.
Here we are at Pike's:

Crew and Jord at the library
The rest of the pics are of Deception Pass. We all went up with Adam & Katie, our dear friends who have recently moved to Seattle. It was a perfect day, and the sights were beautiful.

Lake Chelan
We arrived in Washington on a Saturday, and left for Lake Chelan the next day after church. It is about a 3 hour drive. My mom took this picture of us on the way up. We sure were a lively bunch to have in the car! Me and my classic open mouth.
BYU boys. My dad bought these hats for the boys.
Under the umbrella down at the beach. How we spent most of our days in Chelan. We did get some morning tennis in, and Ryan and my Dad played plenty of afternoon tennis as well. We also did mini golf and, of course, got dinner at Lakeview Drive in one night. We jumped off the dock, and had some floating time. The last day there, my Mom and I got burned. It was a perfect Chelan week. Katie & Josh were there too, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures to prove it.
Kollin & Chase Danger.

Handsome boys.
We also went to Slide waters. Crew LOVED the splash park they had.

Washington
We did a lot while in washington, and I took a lot more pictures. I think I just got better as the trip went along. For my own sanity, I'm dividing the trip into sections. While in Washington, we went to Lake Chelan for a week which was SO nice to just be away and enjoy the warm weather. Then when we got back to my parents house, we spent lots of time with family, went boating, played tennis, went to Mount Rainer with Grandma & Grandpa, had Jana & Jordan up for a visit, ate out, saw some friends, and played lots of Sequence. It was so much fun. I loved seeing Crew warm up to everyone as he spent more time with both of our families. And so, here we go. . . .
Utah
Stop #1 on our Summer tour? Utah! We spent lots and lots of time with family. LOVED IT. Can't wait to go back in December. I tried really hard to be good at taking pictures of everyone, and especially Crew with his cousins. I didn't get EVERYONE, but I tried. Ryan was in heaven while we were there. He got to go mountain biking with all his brothers, fishing, and he golfed probably more than he ever has in his life. We went to the splash park, the best fabric stores ever, my mother in law taught me how to crochet, we saw old friends. . . and I even saw two movies in one day (Breaking Dawn and Toy Story 3). AND we had Cafe Rio several times including on the way to the airport as we left.
There were 2 of these pictures to choose from. Ryan had his eyes shut in one, and I am sticking out my tongue in the other. I do the blog, so Ryan looses out on this one :)
We enjoyed an afternoon with Ryan's grandparents.
We went to dinner with Jakey Poo, aunt Joyce, and uncle Gary. We miss you guys!
Marissa and Jonny!
The older cousins and Kristen.
Crew and Isaac.
Crew and Grandpa. Crew has a dirty face.
Maryann and sweet Sadie. Cox's got me hooked on Ticket to Ride. I've played before, but we had so much fun playing late-nights with them.
The Cox Crew.
Jonah. Crew loved playing with Jonah.
Uncle Jord.
Kristen was a big time help.
Crew and Lilah - she'll have to represent the Hadley crew. Didn't get many pictures with them :(
We got to see Summer and Oliver! One of my dear old roomies from BYU. Oliver is SO cute. Don't be deceived, Oliver is closer to the camera, and right now Crew is taller than little Ollie. (and 6 months older I must add). I had to publicly document the moment because its probably the last time he'll be taller than Oliver for the rest of his life :) Summer, you looked so great, thanks for making time for us!

We've been busy. . .
Well, as the summer officially comes to a close and Ryan starts school on Monday :( I am finally sitting down to document our summer. In a just a few words . . . it was awesome. This being Ryan's last summer that he could have free of school/work, we decided to go the dangerous, more expensive, and totally worth it route: visit each of our families for 2 weeks +, and enjoy all the time together we could. In the end, we were pleased with our decision. We only wish we would have booked the tickets to stay even longer. We had a blast, and loved seeing everyone. I've been procrastinating blogging big time for a couple of reasons. 1) There is way to catch up on, and WAY too many summer pictures taken to choose from and 2) I've been crafting/sewing/reading and doing lots of little projects lately that have been much more fun than blogging. But, here I go. . . slowly but surely, I'll catch us up to speed.

A GIRL
This is Ryan. Just wanted to let everyone know, who hasn't seen our facebook pages, that Lauren is pregnant again and we're having a girl. We are so excited. We both wanted a girl so bad we felt guilty. Of course we would have been happy with a boy too, but we were thrilled to see that it is a girl.
