Cleveland Christmas

Ryan's parents were called to be mission presidents over the Cleveland Ohio mission. It's about an 8 hour drive from where we live, so we were thrilled to be able to drive over and be with them for Christmas. The kids loved being with Grandma & Grandpa and Kristin and Jared.

First snowman. We got plenty more snow while we were there. The deer came and ate his carrot nose!
On Christmas Eve we made cookies for Santa.
And then Grandpa read us the Story of Christmas before bed.
Christmas day was full of lots of good food. And lots of missionaries stopping by - fun!

Crew had been wanting a garbage truck. That is what Santa left him this year. He was pretty excited.
We got pictures with Santa at the mall, and he asked Jane if she wanted a "baby doll" for Christmas. She told him yes. Then anytime anyone asked her what she wanted for Christmas she responded that she wanted a baby doll. So that is what she got from Santa.

Jared got missionary things :)

We went to the Columbus temple with Ryan's parents and Jared. A big thank you to Kristin for watching the kids ALL DAY for us :)
We also got to go to the Kirtland temple and see all of the church history sites. It was a great experience to be there and be in such special places.
There's Jude poking through my jacket. He wanted in the picture too obviously.

Newel K. Whitney store.

Why is the pregnant lady in FRONT of everyone else?! Its simply not fair proportionally :)
Cheesecake factory - yum!
And on our way out, Ryan's mom made sure to make him his favorite birthday cake for his January birthday.
We loved our stay over Christmas break. The kids especially loved being there with our family, and running all over the mission home making messes :) We are so excited to be so close to them for the next couple of years. When we move to Erie, we will only be a 2 hour drive from Cleveland!
